Re: putting front brakes back on If you've used Sunny Struts you'll find them too long. The Sunny struts are the longest body, compared to the 1200?120Y. You're getting positive camber because they're so long they're pushing the lower control arms down too far. Have you tried the Sunny disc & brakes on a 1200 strut?

Re: putting front brakes back on The guys here cut the B310 struts off a few inches with a chop saw, then fit VW inserts. No big deal when you gotta relower the spring cup anyways?

Re: putting front brakes back on they are off a sunny coupe, i probably wouldn't recommend using the sunny set up, its just a pain in the ass to get them to fit properly, i have positive camber now so ill have to camber adjusting tops for the struts id say. i thing the 1200 coupe came out with disc brakes so if you find one of them, i would imagine it would be much easier setup.

Re: putting front brakes back on Yes, the stock 1200 struts have slightly positive camber. Fitting discs to them won't change the alignment.
On the other hand, fitting the strut/brake assembly out of a Sunny B310 will result in negative camber (because of the longer ball-joint). But the spring perches would need to be cut and re-welded lower down.

Re: putting front brakes back on oh ok, well i don't know whats up with mine then,so because the sunny set up is longer, do i need to get tie rods off a sunny as well? could it be the tie rods that are giving me positive camber?
