If I was handy with the tig or mig, Id spend a fair bit of time in making sure a longer wheelbase and shorter roof coupe with a boot becomes reality. |

 Re: datsun 1000 SSS All I did was shortened the roof from top and back which would require good skills. However to lengthen the front end is easier on the 1000 platform as you can move the suspension forward on the rails, add another base radiator pipe ahead of the original and lengthen the inner and outer guards. I always love the first Sylvias and this would be a much lighter and affordable version with more potential. Probably only 15kg heavier all up and heaps of room for a QR20DE or SR20DE.

Looks tough, I think the entire 1000 range needed a chopped down top,pretty sure andy-roo is undergoing this (the chop top) on his girls' B10 4 door.
