What happened to the rear bumper...look for one to restore this little toy and take care of it. the 2 door sedans are probably the best looking of the series but wagons are more practical.....Long live DATSUN 1000s

When i got the car the rear was freshly smashed-in from a P plater talking to his mates, not watching the vintage rarity infront of them. The back of the car copped some home panel beating using a few blocks of wood, a screw-out car jack and a mallet. The bumper was harder to straighten. A friend gave me half a bumper that was straighter than the one i had and i never got around to tracking down some bolts to put it back together.

Meanwhile this car has been on axle stands for almost 18 months now back in Australia. I would hate to sell it but i might need to in another 8 months or so, depending on how the future pans out...
