Every car that had a vinyl roof on it that I have seen had rust under it.
But, this one looks really good.

hey it does look like a convertible. that is 1 very good 1200 coupe. looks abit like the 1 in the nissan dream garage or whatever it is called in the usa.

Back in the late 70's, a friends wife had a 1200 coupe that she had bought new. It was a white car with a white vinyl roof.

Can anyone else recall seeing a WHITE vinyl roof before? Not too many would have appeared on a white car i think. I wish i knew where it was now.

I've seen lots of white vinyl tops; vinyl tops were very popular here in the US in the 70s. However, I can't say that I've seen a 1200 with a white vinyl top ...

The vast majority of vinyl tops were black over here. There was the odd one with a diferent colour, like Blue, or Bone & there is a really rotten [rusty] B210 two door near here with it's original dark Red top, but a pure white top is not common either, particularly on a white car.
My white 1000 coupe's original vinyl top is black.

there is a red one a suburb away from me that has a white vinyl top. Its a sedan.

That makes two so far. Is it white, or bone, an off white colour.
It's one of those things i have kept my eye open for ever since i first drove this one & i have never seen another, but surely there must have been more.

When my little brother bought his Fiat 125S it still had the original white vinyl roof. When he pulled it off to respray the car there was no rust underneath which we found amazing considering it's an Italian car.
