i got the shocks today and.....when i compress it, it goes down quite easy and when u try to extend it, it is very tough. Is that how these shocks are suppose to work?? if not what could be wrong.

ps. how do u adjust these kind of shocks?

I have some of those dampers... the'yre dampers not shocks... they require the spring to extend them, they slow the spring's compression.

I also have a scan of the manual for 'em - pdf format.
Try this - 253KB

koni claims that those dampers last nearly forever.

i was offered some konis like these, so i was just wondering if this type can be serviced.(Unsrew and remove piston etc.)

Try Koni part number # 80-2275 . They are adjustable.

g'day benny,
can you tell me which model 1200 this part No. applies to?
i assume from the pic it's for the coupe but i want to be sure.
i was told a few years ago from the mob i tried to get them from that the koni's needed to be modified for the coupe.

I use these Koni's in my coupe. They are un-modified.....although I also use lowered reverse eye leaf springs

Jaime had a Coupe, the only model which used stud-type upper mount and small-bolt eyelet lower mount. They should fit either a B110 coupe or a B210 coupe.

Yes they can.... but I would be taking them to a " Koni " specialist to do it.

was checking as i'm buyin them second hand at a good price but i might need to service them after a year.
