 Re: 5 speed conversion 2 (71b) This pic shows where i`ve welded a plate to mount the clutch slave cylinder. Also shows where the starter bolts up to the standard 56A front section. you can see a bit of welding was required to fill a gap to the 71B housing at this point.

 Re: 5 speed conversion 2 (71b) I used the 71 series clutch fork/lever and throw out bearing. Also used the standard 71 series clutch slave cylinder. The clutch pedal obviously had to be changed to hydraulic also.
