Looks good. Personally I think 15 inch blubird TRX wheels look quite good on 1200s with light colour paint and dark tinted windows.

I like it. Very straight by the looks of it too. It's tastefully modified, and some thought and has gone into it, and it all suits the era of the car rather than just painting it the latest fad colours with big diametre chrome wheels.

Personally, all I'd do is black out the mesh parts of the grill, leaving the top, bottom, and centre bar in the shiny stainless finish. I don't really like the white dash, not really consistent with the rest of the car. But it's your car so it's only your taste that matters

yeah definetly looks sweet, very straight. lucky lucky man... I would do what L18_B110 suggested and black out the rear parts of the grill, but a part from that a very nice car, cant wait to see it in person at the nats.

Here goes a link to my blacked out grille complete with SSS badge in the top left I think that's what they mean?
I reckon 13" or 14" deep dish super lites are about the nicest mags you can get...not a huge fan of those 5 spokes but the rest of the car looks amazing

Nice car, small cars like the 1200 look good in happy colors(i.e red, yellow, blue, green) that are not good in newer cars which are more metallic. I like the blue . The only sugestion I would make (probably known around for my bias towards 13 in wheels) would be trying a 13X 8 wheel and 215/50/13 tire set, with the proper offset and a set of overfender flares, it would look and also perform like a million bucks. Anyways, I like your work, looks clean, sporty, swift, to add some mean/sturdy looks, try the 13 idea.I prefer black wheels, the dark color adds weight, mass to the wheel/tire assembly(like formula one cars, those black wheels look like masive blocks.)

Interesting point on the weight comment. I think painting these cars solid colors also works well because of the appearance of weight. When I'm done with my mustard yellow I'm trying for a heavier appearance and I think it'll work.

Yes, if building a 1200 , yellow in color, try 13X8 wheels, in black, you will love the look, wide wheels painted black, look massive, impresive, see it to believe it.
A yellow 1200, lowered, 13X8's, 215/50/13's, overfender flares...(if needed, with proper offset, only minor bubbling of stock fenders will do it)...black wheels, respect, admiration, and mean business, chromed is oK if chrome is what somebody likes, but the racing, speed look comes in black. I do not believe in a formula one car with chromed wheels.

My personal favorite would be 13x7 205x50x13 minilights, deep dish with charcoal grey centres. I like the colour as well, all my dattos are white because thats the colour they came in but if i was to repaint them I think the 'happy' colour scheme looks good on 1200s, nice solid colours.
ps. the full crome grill look reminds me of a mkII cortina, sorry if this offends, anyone else see it?

I like it.
I think basic colours are normally a winner on 1200's.

Looks real good.

Looks great especially with all the bright chrome. Really like the no badge look.
