 Re: project (airbags)
yeah i am now as its cheaper than turning it into a dragcar..
havnt made up my mind about the colour yet thats the last thing on my mind..
its not that hard of a job the install a set of bags..
the front end is a piece a cake the ass end is alittle harder.. but will look neater next year when i get all the gear(bags tank valves) and installed my new chassis rails..

Now, if you can get about 2" out of the roof height you could park it under most 4WD's in the carpark

chop it?
You need to fit a driver in there, you know!

Perhaps if you installed a sun roof as well...

 Re: project (airbags)
Yeah that to me would seem like a death box if it were chopped down! I got to sit in a Datto Ute for the first time about a month ago....talk about cramped! I seriously don't think I could own one, or at least drive it much (comfortably). I had the seat all the way back and I could barely get in, and when I did, my legs were folded accordian style and hitting the steering wheel! I'm 6 foot 2 and I never had these problems in a coupe or sedan, in fact my coupe has more leg room than my big old Buick! First thing that ran through my head when I got in that Ute for the first time, "how the hell do all those Aussies in the club fit in these?!" My hats off to the Ute owners, Lord knows I couldn't do it

Anyway, that Ute looks awesome like that.

did this thing ever get finished??
love to see some pics if it did.

and about ute cab space..... i have no dramas, but i used to take my mate to work (he is a big fella)in it, now there is a permanent indentation of his knee on the dash in the passenger side.

 Re: project (airbags)
have started 2 design up new chassis rails shaped like this ----^---
2 allow it 2 sit this low and for the diff to be in the tray.. from that height it can be lifted 6'' from the floor...
front gaurds inside the engine bay have been cut out and reshaped for 18'' wheels 2 sit in the engine bay.. but still enough room for a n/a 13b
