Hey i think i might know who you sold it to, a friend of mine has had a green 1000 coupe with hotwires and a 1400 for a while now, he is in Brisbane too :)

I still have some thumbnails of it at http://datsun.does.it -> click on other 1000's...

yeah, that's it PhilB. It already had a standard A14 in it. Ben raised it up a bit and put the bumpers back on - which I think spoil the lines. He got a bit of a bargain too I reckon - it was a neat little car. Wish I still had it, maybe one day I'll get hold of a 1000 2dr sedan.
