painted, and rear suspension sorted with the 3 peice 14*7" alloy wheels on the back. The front at this stage is just sitting on std struts and no springs - just so I could move it. This car was going to be a re-shell for the driveline in my current 1200 coupe. But not long after this photo was taken, I sold it to a friend who is going to finish it off with a similar spec L18 and compete in hillclimbs and sprints...one day! |

Re: 120Y_03 They're a Folk racing (Japanese) 3pce wheel. Spun alloy rim sections and cast centre (mesh pattern). They were orange when I bought them! fronts were off for repair and were 7" wide. The rears turned out to be 7.5" fitted under the standard bodywork no worries - just lipped the gaurds. The fronts fitted like they were made for it too, which is remarkable considering it had a 180B x-member, control arms, and stanza struts!
The guy I sold this too hadn't done anything to it last time I saw it.

Re: 120Y_03 yeah, he finished it and is using it as his daily driver. I contacted him a couple of months ago to enquire about buying it back, but its his pride and joy and he won't part with it. I don't think he'll be racing it though.

Re: 120Y_03 No, its still white and its still in Brissy. but its strange timing for you to bring this up now - I thought I saw this car yesterday afternoon in a tyre shop carpark, so I turned around and went back to have a look and see if he was there, but it was a different car.
