The car is beautiful -- minor cosmetics
she does need a cam if like mine it took
the lifter with it--somebody please buy it
from Cel. It needs a good home, preferably
someone who will leave the motor in it and
not stuff in a Wankle :) speaking of which
whoever buys this beauty can have a Wankle
powered race 1200 cheap (free) I've been
storing for months and will never get time
to mess with

If I only had the money!

I'll be in California next month and would love to take a coupe back with me on the way (home?) like Andy did. Maybe I'll have to arrange plans to do that sometime in the future. I really want a car in this kinda shape though!

Very clean car. Looks similar to Matt Big Hat's car.
FYI- In the US, those lights on the side are just side markers. Stock, they don't blink.
and
although they are technically required in California, there are many cars with out the front plates mounted. Mine's in an envelope in the trunk.

You are right, it's a nice clean car. One that looks like it can handle itself out there in the concrete jungle too.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that your side markers didn't blink, but obviously ours do. I wouldn't mind being able to leave the front plate off too, but sadly, i'd get busted, so you blokes do have somewhat of an easier time.
Anyway, it's hot here, so maybee that Rum & Coca Cola sounds pretty good about now.

Take another look.

The driver sits in the passenger seat, it has the large fender mounted blinkers, the lack of a number plate suggests that it might not be registered, & that will likely be 4,000 yankee dollars.

Hmmm ... I've never seen a driver drive from the passenger seat (LHD or RHD)

It's funny, we americans think of "Yankee" as meaning northeast/midwest USA (aka "northerner"), not as applying to the whole country ... At least west-coasters and southeners generally do. Those americans living in the north might think of it otherwise.

In other parts of the world, "yankee" is a synonym for "resident of, or particular to, the USA" while Australians seemingly live "Downunder"
My anus is "downunder" so i wonder if we are regarded as living in the a**hole of the world
The term "Yankee dollar" was drawn from a line in a hit song in 1948 by the Andrews sisters, [workin' for the yankee dolaaaaar] although i can't bring the song title to mind just now.
