Brand new, after a lot of cutting and welding.

Thanks

Regarding the wheels, i have been making some mesurements and i think and a Dragster is on the way. On the front wheels i can not go much further on increasing the diameter. However at the rear wheels i can go something like 20% (!!!!) more diameter. That is much better than swaping from a 4.1 diff to a 3.9 diff and much more easier. I think i can homologate it with larger wheels at the rear. If not, when i go to to the anual inspection i will switch it to the original so everybody remains happy. Regarding the wheels color, OZ rally white wheels will be great.

Next thing to do (sometime from now, money doesn't grow on the trees) will be a VW G40 compressor-intercooler setup. I think that it will be quite easier and "cheap" to do than a turbo setup. I think that at least 100Hp will be achieved with no problem at all.

After that is like you say, Paul: New engine, new gearbox, etc...

you definately need to fill that rear guard, the tyre looks like its a fair way from the edge of the guard, get some FATS with the new rims

I have been thinking about geting some 185/80 R14 tires at the rear (+-63cm diameter). It will increase the final ratio by 12 per cent. What do you think?

Yes, 185/14 will look better, but 80-series is very tall! A 5-speed is much better for reducing revs. Although ... the 80-series tires will work too. If you have 75-series on the front, it shouldn't be any problem. If you have low-profile (70 or 60 series) on the front, the handling might not be too good.

What about using 15-inch wheel and 205-70/14? For example 15-inch wheels from a 280Z.

ricardo,my tyre size on my sunny is a 195/60 x 14,which really fill out the wheel wells, but have run 205/60 x 14's on the back, which would do the job.if you put the s2000 motor & 6 speed, you then don't need to increase the final gearing,as the box will do it for you.

paul, the Honda S2000 swap will be ilegal acordingly to the law. By the moment I think that I will keep my A12 engine and assembling on it flat top pistons with 1mm oversize (the larger that i can get over here). I was thinking about leaving the 155/80/R13 at the front and replacing the rear tires by 185/80/R14. That will be something like 12% increase in the diameter.

Re: Datsun Sunny B310 new blue
It took one all week working 8:00 to 20:00. Three people (including me) around the car. It has been done in a workshop of a friend of mine with all the equipment needed. Massive and extensive cuting and re-welding. It is not already perfect since i have to paint the plastics. The price is a secret (friends price).

Now i am thinking about some 16" white OZwheels, since I need to increase the final "gear ratio"

Thank you.

Ricardo
