need to fix up the air intake and put a bigger throttle, i hear a CA20, or old skyline is a pretty good swap, any ideas???
For all you CA guys i found a site called nissanexa.com, i know i hate the ugly things too, but they came out with FWD CA's so there is a lot of good info there. |

 Re: UTE-18L Nope a ca20 tb is smaller than a ca 18. an xf tb is something like about 3 inch and can be fitted by just elongating the 4 mounting holes a bit. They come with either a variable resistor or switch type tps sensor so get the right one there or make a plate up to mount the original ca one. Popular mod for the vl commodore engines but may be a bit too big for a ca and may cause a jerkie throttle responce from off idle but should be good at high revs.

 Re: UTE-18L I think that I read it in a tread some where or was talking to someone about it. All I know is that the CA 20 TB is bigger than the CA18 TB.
