hey yea! they cant be stock!!? i ahve never seen that on a stock OZ 1200ute. is this a late model?

I dont know much about the braces except to say the front end looks like it may have been replaced at some time??Upon careful inspection the base coats don't match...its a 1976 btw

Your ute has captured the interest of quite a few. It has:

Flares
Engine bay bracing
Booster
Coupe dash
Coupe grille
And a remarkable factory looking spoiler.

Can you find anything about it's history? Could this be a special Jap import that once had a sporty drivetrain?

The cowl top grilles ... yeah those are from a coupe.

The front grille is a truck grille as you can see in Nissan brochures for 1978-1989.

It's possible the ute has had a different front end fitted at some stage as the base coat in the engine bay(green) is different to the exterior (white)...
I cant bear the thought of a cut,n,shut but it may be possible....
I bought it from some toothless farmer who after looking at the rego papers had it for less than six months.
Looks as though he bought it from an auction as it still had an id number on the windscreen written in white paint pen...
