Green 68 seats & trim Dodgeman 2004/5/2 23:18 Tell a friend 3289 2 0.00 (0 votes)
The seats are from a 1200 coupe. They came from a wreck in which the passenger died. Bummer. None the less, the seats were good, so i bought them cheaply. We removed the uoholstery from the 1200 rear seat & used it to re-trim the rear seat in this one. They were nice & comfy. |

Re: Green 68 seats & trim man I don't know if I could knowingly use seats that had someone die in them... There isn't like blood or anything is there?
On the upside. They do look nice...

Re: Green 68 seats & trim The 1200 coupe donor car belonged to the son of a workmate. He drove it into a pole at night, in the wet, on his way home from someplace where he had been drinking. He was demonstrating his driving skill & he did a good job of showing everyone just how good he was. No, there was absolutely no blood on them.
His girlfriend suffered severe head injuries when the seatbelt that she was NOT wearing was unable to do it's job. That was 24 years ago, so i guess he should be out of gaol by now. I bought the seats from his father, who actually owned the car.
I had the seats before we painted the car, so you can understand why my wife picked this colour. It's a girl thing.
