if "the Defect" was still going burke-a-lot might not had his winning streak...

I don't think so... I'm in WA... he's in NSW...

"The Defect" felt alot more loose in the rear end than "The Iron Maiden" especially after Dad and I replaced the factory 3N71B (3 speed auto) with a F4W60L (A14 4 speed)...

the 60L isn't for sale... (for those wanting one)

as I am still looking for an A14 or A15 it might come in handy, as I tend to drive hard...

my advice, as nudge did to his gemini to lighten the load,take to the insides with a 40mm holesaw! oh yeah.

I'm not doing that... Datsun Designed it like that that for a reason... so the roof doesn't come in on you like XA-XC ford Falcon hardtops... or modified Geminis...

if I ressurect it I may loose the Dashboard frame/facia... don't know yet...
