Does anyone know of any other dry sump engined cars released in such large numbers as was the 1300 s coupe 9 honda?
This honda feaced all over any other 1300 or as a matter of fact 1500 and under.
It had quad keihin carbs big hp all alloy engine with air cooling.
The coupe 7 was the lower spec one but it also went well.
The coupe 9 in my friends area (greenborough) owned by a motorcycle mechanic has 180hp at 9000rpm and has been lightened extensively to root many a car.
Pity Nissan never made the twin cam 16 valver more common for all of us to afford.

dry sump is rare, I can only recall expensive Italian cars with them. Is the Honda Coupe 9 a type of civic? What about the Honda S600, that was 10,000 rpm I think.

Yeah, the Alfa Montreal was dry sumped.

I had an opportunity to buy one of these Hondas many moons ago when I was young and ignorant, the guy was going on about the quad carbs and how advanced the engine was, but I didnt know what he was talking about.
