this is my precious when it was very new, (to its second owner, me) just after a long polish with NuFinish. they come up nicely after a good dose of tlc.

nope this photo was taken in Orange, NSW. Thats where it originally got fixed and serviced to its registerable state shown in the pic. (except missing side mirror) It looks great here due to the polish, but I am still very surprised how well the paint has held up all these years. The lady who owned it before me kept it garaged from its purchase and kept it in good order. it was truly lucky this car falling into my posession. i had never even noticed or understood anything about cars until i owned a datsun1200. now i want to buy and own lots of them. (wag, sed, ute on my shopping list eheh)
also im getting this re-painted same colour when i get my new panels and get that door etc fixed. (btw the door was done by previous owner who slammed it backwards. still doesnt close properly)

rekon it should be painted the same colour ?
it will be painted one day.. just what colour.

Is that a "body contour imperfection" [dent] at the front edge of the door, .. just above the white line, or a trick of the light?

David. Who else could get excited about 12" wheelcovers?

Ahhh, the precious,... must have the precious.
{You had to see the movie to appreciate that]

Lookin' good. I don't see any obvious rust, & a good body is what makes a good car. [It makes for a good woman too, but thats another story]
