Have a look. I took it to a Nissan place in CHch, and the guy had only ever seen one other like this.

my guess it it just has excellent tailights, if you put in an a15 without too much drama

YUp. Got the a15 in it now. Just w8tn for extractors and adaptor plate for webers. Yeah, L-wkend will be orsome....but the more I look at my car during the day, I see bits that need doing aye....like the bonet is pretty much dead...Cracked and chipped, Im tempted to make it black..mabe.

YO, they are called vectors. But at the moment I have rims on the front and the vectors on the back cuz I got a blow out. Have a look at 'my dato', I think you can see the mags in that photo. These are the 3rd set o mags on this car. I had deep dish hotwires, some 14" honeycom mags and now these, but these are my favourite!

Hey all.
Ummm, What is an L engine?
Sorry, But im kinda new to the datsun world... in a way...
I took this into Niss bits in Chch and the dude at the counter nearly fell over the counter looking at it (honestly!) and said he had only ever seen one other like it in his life time of working as a Nisan/Datsun wrecker/importer.
Whats a l-14?
Im getting a a15 in it on Saturday, 32/36 webbers(a14force is gunna put em on) and finish off the exhaust to make it go a bit faster than 69 hp factory.
I'll post some more photos of the front of the car 4 ya's (2morrow)

The L-14 is an overhead cam engine, same family as the engine in the 1600 and 180b

Ahhh, I see. THe engine isnt in the car anymore, I have an a15 in there now. The engine is for sale at http://www.trademe.co.nz/structure/auction_detail.asp?id=12484047 for $100.00 if anone is keen

Its amazing how the Japanesse created so many different grilles/tailights/etc looks for the same car(S). It would be cool to have different sets of front grilles/ tailights. Every other time, you could change the look of your datto. Once I saw a tailight arrangement for a B210 that looked like a Mazda RX3, the same size plastic area, but round lenses instead of the long ones.

Yeah, I suppose its a bit like havn a birth mark to have a tow bar....people point and laugh..but when it comes to towing stuff...well. And I can even take my downhill bike on the back. I'll probably take it off one day tho.

did you add on that towbar or did it come from nissan like that ? my coupe came with a strong towbar and i just wanted to find out if these were factory towbar's or just very familiar custom ones.

Yep,

PB-210, you'll find it has a different nose as well, these cars are hard to find outside of Japan.

It also has an L-14 as standard equipment.

The one photographed is a GL, because the window frames are the same colour as the rest of the car.
