Go on, say it...it needs a lowering job and that wing is huge.   I get mixed reactions.  Ute is already lowered and rides on 18's plus it is going to be the tow car for the rally car (mistake?),  so dont want it too low, tow pack is now fitted.

Thanks Tyrie. Took the old XB out to the Subaru Safari Tasmania last weekend, Tassie's round of the Australian Rally Championship. Glad I didnt take the XR8 cause the roads were pretty rough and chopped up after the guys had fanged through the stages. I was gonna sell the XB but I might hang on to it for towing duties. Dont like the idea of the AU pulling a tandem through the bush with a crumpled Datto on the back. Dont like the idea of a crumpled Datto full stop.

No Fords in the USA look like this (even sedans). I thnk it looks good, but for a hauling vehicle, it should be raised up a bit overall.

My initial reaction was that somebody pieced this together from a bunch of different cars. Hard to believe this is an actual production model.

It is a production model but has had a few enhancements after the factory. Hard top is standard. Wheels, front spoiler, side skirts, rear wing, rear bar, vents in the bonnet and detailed calipers are all aftermarket. The twin headlights are factory but the front spoiler (one piece around headlights) is styled on a V8 Supercar. I am going to look into cold air induction but not like most guys that get the air from between the hood and the grill. I am going to utilise the massive scoop in the front spoiler Big area to duct in air, only problem I think I will have is water intake. It rains a lot in Tassie. Dont want water getting in. Hmm
