just found this piping to be the right dimeter, what do u guys think of the bends in relation to the carb and s/c, would these bends need to be tuned length or not, looks pretty good .

I kept looking at this pic and I have come to the conclusion that you have stolen the railings from a disabled toilet
I dont know if it would be any better that they be the same length or not, As it just goes into the supercharger and then gets mixed up anyway. To me just from looks, it should be equal.( But thats just looks) To me it looks a bit weird that one will have a longer path than the other. Maybe you should just make them both go into one before the bend.
Thats my thoughts.
Cheers Steve

I think that it would be better to have equal length between the carb and blower. After the blower wont matter so much because the charge will be under pressure then. Thats just my thoughts, don't take it as gospel.

if the two are mixed in the super it shouldn't matter, the only thing that may occur is that the shorter path will suck marginally more air than the longer due to "path of least resistance", but even still it wont matter as the carby will just put more fuel in that throat anyway as it will have higher air velocity

with that in mind the diffrence is gonna be a poofteenth of stuff all anyway

is this correct?

also looking at the pic you may be better off using the piece with a tighter bend on the shorter path as it will equally the lengths out a bit more, i think, hard to picture

this was just a quick mock up i did it again today and noticed i can get the inner pipe aligned alot better, ill cut em up properly during the week and post another pic, the reason ive chosen to use two pipes instead of one is that they are already bent so i didnt have to do anything.

If you want the short inside pipe to look more in proportion, find a Stainless Steel tube supplier and ask to have a look at their "short radius bends"...tube bends come in to configurations long and short. The outer one is a long style. With a short radius bend you can get them looking more equal and closer to equal length with a short straight piece on either end of the short bend...If you were in NZ I'd send some we have piles of SS tube here at work.

that's gold

looks good. i prefer underbonnet setups.

are the ram tubes running to an airbox or a 'headlight filter'?

i have no clue what a headlight filter is but ill be running ram tubes and sock filters and they will sit just behind the headlight with the square hole for the horn flowing cold air straight into the air filters, maybe even make up a big duct out of stainless sheet, see what happens im not there yet.....
