This is what the front of my ute looks like now. It's a work horse daily driver but I am still tossing up whether or not to put just a bumper on it.

ha ha I took this photo just after adjusting the rear brakes, hence the block of wood!
And the driving lights are just sitting on there, not hooked up yet so I would hide the wires if they stay.

Its looks like you're on your way to a B&S, and datto's are way too cool to be at a B&S.

But I guess it does protect the precious datto. Maybe if my ute had one I would still be driving it.....

no no no dont do it take it off i actualy printed out a poster sise photo quality pic of your car from the front on cos i liked its simplicity
that bar just kills its lines

I reckon stick with it.
It not only makes ur ute more individual, but offers some protection as well.
Dunno about the wires from the driving lights though...
