Dodgeman do you have the original book or just electronic snippets from it?

I'm sure Dodgeman has this book, as it is the common A12 factory serivice manual can be found for as little as $10 on eBay

 Re: Factory rod prep
been looking through my 1973 Factory Service Manual and after showing how to inspect the rods and their specs, it only says "repair and replace" . So maybe Dodgman used a newer FSM?

Or maybe this is not about factory prepping but about race prepping the rods. In which case it might be from the Datsun Competition Manual

 Re: Factory rod prep
Quick question.........how would i weigh each end [big and small] seperately? As the doc suggests to adjust the weight for each; seperately. Or is the doc referring to match the weights for the bearing caps and little end / rod beam.

cheers
Benny

You have to sit each end on a pin to suport it while you weigh the other end.
