Re: Factory rod prep been looking through my 1973 Factory Service Manual and after showing how to inspect the rods and their specs, it only says "repair and replace" . So maybe Dodgman used a newer FSM?
Or maybe this is not about factory prepping but about race prepping the rods. In which case it might be from the Datsun Competition Manual

Re: Factory rod prep Quick question.........how would i weigh each end [big and small] seperately? As the doc suggests to adjust the weight for each; seperately. Or is the doc referring to match the weights for the bearing caps and little end / rod beam.
cheers Benny

Re: Factory rod prep You have to sit each end on a pin to suport it while you weigh the other end.
