For the 1971-1973 it is:
48910-H1021 BUSH-Column
But the newer utes use a totally different setup.

A friendly Nissan dealer is the place to ask for the part.

 Re: Rubber Bushings
im not sure how big it is, but if its around the size of a coke lid, screw a piece of dowelthe same diameter as the hole has to be, then get some rubber, and a blow torch and grease the lid up and start burnin rubber! and make ur own it might work.

 Re: Steering Column
i didnt pass rego cause my steeing column is loose, i was told to remove the wheel and replace the rubber bushing (the one behind a washer secured by a circlip) when i tried to take the original bushing out it just cracked and disintergrated.

So as a quick fix to pass i finished a bottle of red and cut 4 small pieces of cork, lubed them up and pushed them in place.

It fixed the problem and passed but my question is this,

Will this be safe to leave it as it is untill i find a new bushing? ie. not going to do damage to my column as it might take some time to fix proberly

Also does anyone have one spare??? piece 18 in the above pic (can email larger pic)

Cheers Henry
