1000 coupe badge queery

Scanned at high resolution from an original brochure, this coupe has badges low on the fender. Has anyone seen these before? Can anyone produce other pictures.

 Re: 1000 coupe badge queery I scanned the original brochure at 600dpi to produce a file of over 100Mb This is what's left after cropping. Sorry about the quality, but it's the best i can do.
I have never seen this badge placement before.

Re: 1000 coupe badge queery I have seen a Japanese Datsun 1000 with its badges mounted on the lower part of the front gaurd.
I'll try and find a picture.
Its different... I would go as far as 'queer' though:)

Thats what i would love to know.
If it is possible to get a picture of this area, i would love to see it. This picture is from the single sheet brochure that i refered to in another post. I will post the whole picture later, but i thought it interesting that this one has the words "Datsun Coupe" on it & not "Sunny Coupe"

Thats what i'm after.
I will be using the original type mirrors, but in the "factory optional" door mounting position.
Thats a bloody nice car.
The brochure that my picture came from is a "Datsun" 1000 coupe one, so obviously they simply used photo's interchangeably as needed. As long as the branding was not obvious.
