It will live to see another day...I'm just glad I didn't take up the offer of the "silly seat" for that event. Too much excitement for my old body.....

At the end of the day, it's my responsibility to make sure the bits fit right.
I cant really go getting nasty at the poor ol parts guys who only see production part numbers, if i'm fitting them to NISMO steering bits...

Live and learn. If posting this makes someone else double check when they swap struts or replace parts, then some good has come of it...

If only it had been the right rear that was damaged instead of the right front. I know where there is a rear quarter you could use ...

Even my co-driver said 'WTF??? we were hardly moving'

Turns out that B310 balljoints aint the same parts as US110 balljoints, regardless of what the guy behind the counter at your local major parts retailer will tell you...

The taper is quite different, which leads to the lovely scenario where everything feels nice and tight, but load it up in a corner and everything moves inside the taper... I replaced everything two events ago, it must've been gradually loosening up to the point where it popped out of the taper with the results you can see.

It aint as bad as it looks, we were only doing 90k's or so, and it was a nice soft dirt bank...

Lesson learnt, get the right bits from nissan, even if you have to wait for them....
