Re: my wagon & lowrider I have just left the bicycle wholesaler that distributes 'Raleigh" here in Aust. and they have re-released the chooper this season. It' been re-spec to meet new ARD standards but is still really cool, only down fall is no 'T Bar' shifter due to standards. It now runs a grip shift. As for the wooden rims Champ, good luck. I'll look into the wholesaler and distributer that I know and see if any old school fella's know of any around. And that wagon's rock!!

Re: my wagon & lowrider I still need some 'Rex' wood rims for my custom built 1937 Carbine, Goulburn-to-Sydney, race bike. Anyone? Any brand of servicable wood 'singles*' rims considered. My 1933 Speedwell 'Olympic' needs some too.

Re: my wagon & lowrider i also have a few other bike like an original raleigh choppers with the standard 16" front wheel and a 20" back and i also have a custom made chopper with really long forks. i kno my lowrider doesnt seem that appealing to most i dont even think its that atractive as i only built it to help build up my customising skills as the frame from the seat pole forward is custom made.

Re: my wagon & lowrider I still have about 20 bicycles in my collection, including my pre 1910 Speedwell Bush bike with near solid 'thornproof' tyres, & i guarantee that it would be more comfortable to ride over any reasonable distance than these ergonomicly unsatisfactory low riders.
The wagon on the other hand, looks really good. I like it.
