Engine bay is nearly ready for the engine. I need to clean up the coil and fit the new radiator.

If i remember rightly, Datsun 200B wagons used a Kangaroo bag to service the tailgate washer. It is hidden behind an access flap in the left side interior trim in the cargo area. It's another source.
Perhaps i should check to see if the one in my 200B wagon still has water in it.

With plastic bottle one from any other car.

My one started leaking and there was a bit of rust behind it where the bag kept on flapping against the body and had gotten damp. Also, IMO, a bottle looks better.

I hated the things. When you can go to a wrecker and get a normal bottle for $1...

hey, if you had no problems with yours and you like it... Then I will let you keep it

What ????? I spent ages getting that bag that clean...I have a pile of them and build one mint one out of lot. Maybe the higher temperatures in Aussie weakens the plastic. I am trying to restore my car rather than modify it like all my others. Well that is unless the mods were available when the car was new anyway

I find it cool that everyone has their own personal tastes in what they like, It gives us all individual cars. My 1000 wagon doesnt and wont have much that is original but the one thing that I always was going to keep is the kangaroo bag. I have always thought they were the coolest looking thing in a datto enginebay.

Stirlingmac is that an oil cooler near the battery tray? How was the oil pumped through this on the GX? Did it just use the normal oil pump or it had a seperate pump for the cooler? Maybe its not even an oil cooler I see
Look excellent
Cheers Steve

Yep it's an oil cooler, I have a factory race oil pump to feed it.
