It looks a bit squeezy, but it's in there OK. These engines pull very nicely, which is what an old fossil like me with a weak gear lever arm needs.
Not that anyone has done it, but it would very likely perform surprisingly well as a street driver with an auto.

I was preparing to whinge about "non-1200" photos as I clicked this link..

But I'm happily surprised to see the L20B in a 1200 engine bay

It is a nice fit. I think back to my brothers old 1600 with a 2.4L stroker with twin 48 webers.. I wish I knew where that engine was now..

No fuel lines yet, but it runs...
Still need some gear box oil, and put the tailshaft in.
Rest of the wiring needs doing, and once thats done, a good tidy up in there...
Its all dusty from sanding the body. It should be black
