Dont get me wrong looks awsome but isnt there problems one encounters with chrome rocker covers??
Heat the main issue surley as the enamel would reflect (or absorb, i never did go well in science) the heat due to its mirror like effect therefore making your engine bay a more 'hot,' pardon the pun, place to store that sexy A15T??
Shed some light on this please peoples!!

Lookin damn fine tho i must say!!1
Is that your own custom box? Fabrication looking tighht..

If chrome engine components is that big of a problem then the oil pan would probably be of more concern. However, I doubt that a street driven engine would really suffer that bad from the chrome effects. I wouldn't chrome a race oil pan, though.

Looking good by the way.

Polished metals don't radiate heat well at alll, and they don't absorb radiant heat well either.

Chrome may be a good choice for engine sheetmetal as it's going to keep the oil hotter thus thinner. Speeds it's return to the sump. It might be enough to keep any residue from forming in the rocker box.
