you can see them...where they usually are... look at the end of the ute you can tell thats a bumper on the rear

the tonneau cover isnt orignal?.. from the early grill im guessing a 70s model 1200 ute?..hmm it could be a late 70 or 80 model because of the back bumpers....

Did the early models have different bumpers?

Thats what i have gathered..... out of all the 1200 utes i have seen, the early/most of 70s ute's had no bumpers and the 80s ones did(have seen a few of 1200utes).

But this idea could be squashed lol.... any people on the site notice this too?? i know the very early 1200 utes were different too the 80s ones...i reckon the rear bottom gaurds are slighty different on the early and late ones as well

mines a '74 apparently (It didn't come with a compliance plate) and it had rear bumpers at one stage. You can see it if you pull the rear side panels out of the inside of the tray, and look into the back corner. The place it bolts up to is still there.

but i don't think the '74 is in the "old" category... or is it??


This one still has the original front mudflaps which is more rare than the hubcaps i thought... great for throwing mud where you don't want it to go (maybe thats why 1200's rust there?)

from this angle it looks as if the bumpers could be a part of the car behind it, rather than the ute. I thought they were from the ute tho
