At my local service station, we are a very Datsun oriented group. The older apprentice became a tradesman recently & this is a good example of the workmanship that he is capable of. It was registered about five days ago.

Its a primo example and Ive been thinking of this colour for my b10 chop top with standard black interior and black watanabes.
However those wheels would be much better on daewoos, kias and hyundais where they belong.
The good thing about the 1600 over the 240-260z is the wheel base is longer and therefore better handling overall with less oversteer from factory.

During the rebuild of this car, another unfinished project, based on a truly rotted body became available at a VERY attractive price.

This was purchased & some unwanted parts were imediately sold, & the purchase price was recovered, while the previously missing bumpers & frontal trim were sourced from this car. There are now two sets of wheels. These are the ones for the rego Nazi's & the ones off the other car are the "good ones"
This is an ongoing project, but as a young tradesman with rent to pay, a house deposit to save for & a woman to distract him, this will be a steady-as-she-goes kind of job, but he's a good kid & he iill get any help from me that i can provide.

The Z18t is stock [no intercooler] & it will be steadily developed over the next few years too
Altogether, it has been a very "cost effective" project.
