A good ECU has lots of good opions but pretty complex to setup (compared to microtech ) Its controls boost ect. fully sequential ignition and fuel. Its setup to protect engine too limits boost and revs until warm and also lowers rev limit and boost when overheating

Yeah send it down. that'd be great. I don't know how I'd use it yet, as I've not had my laptop connected to my ECU yet. But all the same, it's gotta be a good start.

I'll obviously need to tweak the outputs to suit what I plan to do with them.

Did you find a source for new pins for the ECU connector? I'm thinking that I might need to use one more output than you. I want to run 2 fans via the ECU, and have them come on at different temps.

I was looking at the wreckers and I think that the later model Hondas use similar pins in their connectors.

Cheers,
Chris

You will need an old type Laptop with a serial port to connect I have I think two spare pins for my ecu cant remember exactly what it was to be used for. Did you want the fans controled at different temps??? if not you could always just use the one output into a relay and work both thermoes off that?? Im yet to hook a computer upto mine Im looking at a cheap old Laptop hopefully will be good for datta logging ect
