 Re: Mukes New Datsun: Front It's good to see he has moved upmarket with this 1969 Datsun 1000 Standard four door sedan. I prefered the smaller tail lights of the '68, but this one will serve him well if my old '68 is anything to go by.
Another B10 fan, that can only be a good thing.

 Re: Mukes New Datsun: Front These mirrors were an option on Japanese Domestic Models, but seem to have been standard on all Australian cars, even the standard models. They look to have been fitted at the dealerships prior to delivery & cars will be found with these mirrors mounted on top of the guards, like these, & also on the side of the guard, just down from the top edge.
The mirrors were also mounted in slightly diferent places along the length of the guard, but a position above the center of the wheel arch, or as much as 4' foward of this, are common. All these variations seem to be due to local dealership workshops having their own ideas on mounting points.
