New Quarter panel & Sill panel out of Taiwan. Quarter - $240, Sill - $60. The Quarter panel needed a bit of massaging as it wasn't quite a perfect fit, but the sill panel fitted perfectly. P.S - The bullet hole's aren't real........YET! |

Re: New Panels To change the sill panels you need to either grind or drill the spot welds out of the surrounding sheet metal. I would suggest a drill (either a store-bought spot weld drill or a sheet metal grind on a normal drill) as the holes will need to be repaired at some stage...... If you slip with the grinder things can get pretty messy. Then it's a matter of pulling out the old panel, inserting the new one & welding back in place (I used an oxy set). Be Warned! - There is lot of work involved in just replacing the panel, if you add everyone's little friend rust into the equation, things get a whole lot more complicated. Good Luck.
