the subtle change of lowering the ute has made the world of difference......looks great.

I have a set of those wheels for sale if anyone is interested. [i have way to many wheels, i will never get around to using them] maybe someone in datsun land could use them.

how did ya manage to get it done for only $15?? make your own blocks or something??

Well it was $10 for paint and $5 for the stiction plates. I just stripped and cleaned all the leaves, inverted the second leaf, and moved the overload spring to the top, of which is also inverted.

The ride is only marginally stiffer than factory and as of yet, had no problems with axle trap.

Yeah this cancelled out all the axle tramp problems in my ute, even with the well worked 1500cc A14.

So did you do the exact same configuration?
