Surprise! Part. I hadn't heard about this very rare part, but there it was. So I checked, and sure enough it is in my Nissan Competition catalog but for some reason I never noticed it ... who woulda thought a 1200 would need one of these?

My competition tune up manual mentions the tach [part No. 24855 - H1075] but makes no mention of the speedo.
The blurb that goes with the tach reads,....

"This optional tachometer has a red hand to make it prominent and also has a maximum revolution indicating hand."

It makes no reference to the 10,000 rpm scale. I wonder if they simply assume that all A series rev like that.

120MPH -> 24850-H3400 (Sedan,Coupe DX)
180KMH -> 24850-H2500 (Sedan GX)

The mph unit used to be available in order lots of 5. So if you need to buy 5, let me know.

Cheers,
Chris

I'll take both of 'em. My factory tach and 100mph speedo proved themselves inadequate on Thunderhill trackday

I could always justify needing a 120mph speedo on any of my 1200's! Now I need one that goes up to 160mph

I think Andrews beast does up to 230kmh with a 4.1 diff...
So maybe some of the "power addicts" among us might need 180mph

I run a 3.45:1 diff. It drives really nicely. I can use 1st gear around hairpins.
