good stuff datsun120ycoupe. I reckon there should be heaps more people doing this. Such a straightforward and easily approved conversion to a good torquie engine with strong 5spds. Has to be the best bang for your buck going around

thank dude. i agree, more people should be doing this conversion! welded up half the exhaust system today, 2" piping with 1 bullet muffler on it. radiator is mounted in properly, jezz sits pretty high, it looks like it wouldnt clear the bonnet but it does ! gotta make a gearbox xmember, mount the center part of the 2 piece driveshaft to the car and fix the throttle cable so its very close!

You made a nice neat job of cutting the hole for the clutch master cylinder.

haha shshhh u didnt see that, its..its ummm..err...a sticker that looks like a hole...the holesaw broke so i finished the rest of the hole off with tinsnips :|

um i mite be wrong but it looks to me to be standing up a little straughter then it should maybe u had clearence probs some where

good sighting john, it doesnt have its full slant. and there isnt any clearence problems from it as i did a small amount of panelbeating on the sump.

sticking with the standard carb untill i find a pair of su's or stumble accross an L18 efi setup which i highly doubt will happen anytime soon!
