Here is first test day with the new car.
I did a 1.13.07 today with 3 1/2 year old tyres. I think its got anothe 2 secs alone without further mods, just a bit of practice....

1:14.5 Was a time he posted at the State champs at Wakefield.

So he's already kicking butt. Nice one.

We'll have to get a faster camera out there one day.

Looks great Watto - seat is too high though. Another 1/2 sec right there...

No brake ducts Harry, the rotors are massive and the trouble is getting them warm...
they have so much stopping power I had to take the booster offline, as just a single small dab would lock a front wheel even at 160kph!!
Once the booster was disconnected, the feedback was fantastic ....but boy did I destroy one Advan 032R race tyre!!!
BTW I think I will sell the booster. It is a specially made remote - under dash unit.

Oh yeah that spoiler is one that came with Johns car when i bought it.
I still have the Steve Draheim kit sitting in the garage is anyone wants to buy it...
otherwise I'll put it on the little blue rally car.

does this run your old engine? if so, 1.5s quicker just in the chassis, maybe 3.5s with a bit of practice??? Crikey, thats a huge improvement, what is technically so much better about the new one? Is this the car with the tricky rear end?

yeah Morgan...same engine same gearbox, yes the rear end, the tricky shocks (Spax) big brakes (Willwoods) the cage is welded to the car the chassis is alot stiffer than my last with the cage....
it has wider track etc etc...
The car is just so much better. My last car was a very well sorted road car for the track.
This car is a specifically built as a race car. With specialist race bits youd rarely see or have in a road car.

Love to come and see the "Evo" in action one day. You'll have to let us know when you're racing.
Cheers
Dan.
