No its not a Drive by shooting! This was the result of someone (last owner) trying to punch holes in the door body and not succeeding very well...

my old mirror was in two of those holes and kept coming lose, but that will be all fixed up and new bullet mirrors going on the door further down

The quater window seal i am replacing and fixing the slight rust on it.

Yeah man i dont know why! An old granny owned it before me, so maybe she used a air rifle or a nail gun or something ..

I think its because the mirror came lose over the years and they poped new holes into it to reattach it time. I didnt even know these holes were there until i knocked the paint back today.

There is a couple of way i could it, weld new skin over it rub down or Bog it up. But im not so good in that department so will leave that to the Pro's. its not a hard thing to learn but have never been taught how to! ... You could always weld in little backing plates and fill the little hole left with bog. But whats the go anyway. Its seems as though shes getting a complete makeover in the paint department.

Thats the perfect spot for a COPS ARE TOPS sticker
You could put a block of wood behind it and use wood screws to secure the mirror with , although, I am avaliable free of charge if the flight co-incides with Jambo time
