I laughed when i found this pic of my car back in 1990....it runs a PP 12A and back then people told me it was too loud i can't see why ?!! I have fitted a proper exhaust since.

It looks like the muffler is missing from the short exhaust pipe Must have been fun to drive

The "muffler" was in fact a fake...I welded a tube thru it's guts and got away with it for years. It used to do some awesome flameouts on lift off into corners, it was great for freaking out the other drivers.

Nice racecar. What brand are the wheels? I don't think I've ever seen them before.

Yep I still own it and plan of never losing it. It has a great history and has been a racecar from new. The wheels are NZ made Tafro or TRs they are 3 piece and good for altering offsets etc. They were made in Christchurch but I believe Arrow Wheels in Auckland now have the patterns and spinning dies. I don't use these wheels any more they are ear marked for my other halve's RS2000 Escort. I have another Kiwi made rim called Hallidays which are even lighter.

can u tell us a bitmore bout the car, and engine. i would love to have a pp on the street, the attention ppl get when driving is awesome, plus a pp would maul in a 1200.
