Although I wouldn't run A/C unless you've got a big 4cyl or v6 planned ...

Re: 1200 dash Why? My wife's A/C works great with her stocker A12... only thing added is exhaust and sidedrafts, which I would have thought to make it harder for the setup, but it works great. Just have to go up 10 on the idle jets during the summer, when the A/C's in use.
That's an interesting console and A/C unit. I like how the vents aren't all on the passenger side like what's available over here. Pretty much results in a comfortable driver and a freezing passenger.
