looks like the "formula atlantic / pacific" jap domestic rocker covers. circa about 1977 - 80. Probably still made today by Tomei

 Re: Tomei rocker cover
if i were in high school and had access to sand casting things and a furnace to melt aluminum i think they'd be pretty easy to make. I wonder what it would cost for someone with sand casting stuff and furnace to pour one if someone brought in a ready to cast pattern.

While you're at it, make a dry sump pan and maybe a big wet sump.

Would any one buy them if they were made?

I could find out what the cost to make plate alloy valve covers and oil pans, again would anyone want to buy them to make it worthwhile?

I would pay $100-$150 Australian tops for an item that looked as neat and gorgeous as that!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry, couldn't help myself. Sadly, you are probably right about its real value, but the actual cost to get one is substantially more.

I have a neighbor who owns a casting company. If a sample is given he is more than qualified to reproduce them!
A CNC Billet machined valve cover would be awesome...There is a place in Torrance or Gardena
that does make them for SBC and Cadillacs!
Expensive though!
