Re: Newest 1200 4 As you can see, the 1973's got the fire-resistant blue upholstery. Earlier ones had pale yellow or black interior.

Re: Newest 1200 4 Fire resistant upholstery? Come on David, better give us the background on this change. My sons 1973 coupe has black upholstery, so maybee this was a US only thing, or was it a factory option?

Re: Newest 1200 4 North America only. I heard they pulled off the Japan interior when it got to Long Beach, and put on the new interior. See " Flammability of Interior Materials".
