1 bar IS atmospheric pressure, thats why sometimes u hear people say their car is running one atmosphere of boost above normal...

the recirculating BOV and that cover over the airfilter make it legal.......they didnt even look at engine mounts or anything......the engine could fall out but thats ok cause it has a cover over the airfilter!!!!!!!lol

Well done simplicity is often the best
could you please explain whats been done to the carby to hold boost ....So many people hear wanting to do the same maybe you could pass on a bit of info as no one has really gone into deepth about it cheers

 Re: All engineered now
As far as i know its just a webber 32/36 downdraft with a hat over the top(like a little plenum) there is nothing changed inside the carb except for changing the jets to suit the engine and fill the float with spongerez (floaty foam stuff so your float dosent crush under boost).

The real crutial thing is the rising rate fuel pressure regulator without that nothing would work.

And dont get to greedy with boost 1 bar is plenty, you would have to box the carb to go more boost i think.

but I can clearly see that the BOV vents to atmosphere

1 bar is plenty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had 3 32/36s on my setup running less than 10psi boost, none of them held gaskets in at all

It recirculates after bouncing off the underneath of the bonnet and back into the pod filter

1 bar would hoot!

1 bar is about 14 pounds, right? I thought popular wisdom is these carbs will safely only handle 5 pound boost, any more than that and they should be boxed.

the bov has a atmo and recirc 2 way system so u can choose what u want by turning the top of the bov.

yeah i think 1 bar is about 15psi........it works sweet maybe the carb is glued togeather or something
someone also told me there are turbo 32/36 carbs but not sure if its true.

Yes, but it CAN vent into atmosphere....which I got told is illegal
