ps the light are ther only becus the preson how sold it to my freind did it and he cut the panel so we can not put it bak the way it should be with out damiging the paint jod plus the owner "likes it" becus its difrent. I persoly hat it i think it looks like crap

looks like it would have been a good upgrade Nissan culd have done instead of bringing out the 120y

I'm sure that I have seen those bumper over-riders on a '73 coupe that my son & I went to have a look at two years ago.
I had not seen them before, or since, but the owner bought the car in '75 & she had not added them.
Did the US market get them?

By 1974, the 1200 was not looking 'new' anymore & the 120Y did. It's all about sales figures.

u could say that but thats becus the lights are from a europen car i think it was from a some vw i think? no im sher it did.... a jetta.

Was going to say it made it look like an RX2 with those headlights...
But then I saw a picture of an RX2.

It has a sort of European look. Reminds me of an Audi, or maybe an Opel. It's not ugly, and definately looks better than the later model, factory square headlight utes, but it still doesn't look right on a 1200.
I just LOVE the black.
