I reckon the height is fine on the front, but the rear could do with the 8's. who cares it looks better than most of ours

 Re: b120dat 5
haha thanks Andrew for starting that

I didnt bother going bigger as the Aseries doesnt need huge tyres at the back, just adds wieght which i dont need. The 185s grip good when i give it stick, can break traction alot but only when having fun, but not if i wanna give it a squirt off the line

Can go to 195s or 205s on the 6inch rim but no need at this moment, maybe when i put a bigger beast Lseries in or another motor

Thanks for the comments lads!

p.s andy not all of us have 300+hp to warrent tire factories at the rear haha but yeah makes 1200s look much tougher! maybe one day will have that much power!

maybe we should just replace the front springs with hydraulic bump stops!

sorry mate didnt mean to start an improvement suggestion thread..

without any changes your ute is one of (if not) the best looking and neatest 1200 ute's on this site...

it would take the trophy for the 'old skool' category without a doubt

no worries - just let me know when you're ready. I'll make sure I have a few Coopers in the fridge - doing anything in this heat is thirsty work!

looks sweet all it needs is some 8's on the back to fill the quarters out a bit more
Everything else looks spoton even the black grill

Slimline plates are available in QLD. The rear plate is a standard one.

For fark sake....when are you goin to lower that thing, it looks like a monster truck

I like the grille, personally.......hmm, but a chrome one might be better.

Thanks lads

Ange my ute has been on the site for along time, have seen it grow up from 100% stocker 4years ago with alot of help from this site and members! so there is alot of documentation on this site haha...thanks for this site for my inspriations from many members 1200s too!

I will take the mudflaps off soon never really thought about them and as for the grille i am going to try some different styles as it doesnt seem to go with the new chrome mirrors.

QLD members are there slimline plates available??? im not really sure what they are.

Cheers Rainer

 Re: b120dat 5
its looking awesome mate!

only improvements i could suggest would be to lose the rear mudflaps...

and maybe convert it to old metal style grille? or maybe paint your grille a different colour?

are slimline numberplates available where you are?

once again.. i love it
your ute has been an inspiration for me ever since i became a member
