Is that switch on the steering column for the hazzard lights. I had thought that this was a LHD item only.

Certainly is. Mine has one too - it's an 84 model.

There's also the handbrake warning light up on top right of the dash pad - a sort of 'heads up' display.

Must've run out of room in the instrument cluster

yeh my 81 has em as well, my light on top of the dash either isnt working or i have nothing to worry about

My '85 ute has an identical dash as well, except it has a tacho instead of the clock. Hazard light switch and handbrake light on top of the dash are the same.
