hey guys,i been into nissans from a schoolboy, it had a modified a14 block,1200gx head(flowed with nissan skyline exhaust valves),electronic ignition(magnetic induction),.60 pistons,276 cam(anything more and u have no midrange power,car was used everyday so had to compromise on power n driveabilty),1200 flywheel,branches into 57mm pipe into twin exit backbox,custom intake with a weber 36DCD,(sidedraughts too heavy on gas and adapter plate with DCD limits revability),5 speed box,3.889 borg warner diff,this car wud not say die as it was hammered day in and day out,had it for 16 years....2nd owner from brand new.for a 1496cc pushroad engine to put em 4age 16v's etc to shame well....who needs vtech when u have 1400's:)

RPM always seems 'just a number' when in car or looking at a tacho It's really scary when you are 2 feet away from your car on a chassis dyno watching it scream itself silly at 7200rpm!!! You find yourself backing away just a bit from what seems like an impending explosion Swore I'd be more sypathetic with revs ......... then the green flag drops and well ........
